Zadar recently welcomed 15 dental technician students from Italy’s Istituto Istruzione Superiore Faicchio Castelvenere through an Erasmus+ dental technicians mobility program coordinated by Pronova Academy. The two-week professional internship, running from March 31 to April 14, 2025, provided these dental technicians Erasmus participants with hands-on experience in premier dental laboratories across the Zadar region.
This dental technicians Erasmus initiative aimed to enhance students’ practical skills within authentic workplace settings while fostering international professional development. The carefully structured program partnered with five leading dental laboratories: Zara Dental Center, Nexus Dental, Stella Veronika Dental Laboratory, Davor Jurov Laboratory, and Robeli Laboratory.
Skills and cultural enrichment through the dental technicians Erasmus program
Throughout the dental technicians Erasmus internship, participants mastered essential dental technology skills including creating working models with movable segments, fabricating individual bridges and metal-ceramic crowns, constructing complete and partial dentures, and operating specialized equipment such as ceramic furnaces, polymerization units, and casting devices.
Beyond their professional training, the dental technicians Erasmus program incorporated cultural exploration of Zadar’s historical sites through guided tours and leisure time spent enjoying the coastal city’s renowned landmarks. The dental technicians Erasmus experience concluded with an award ceremony where participants received certificates acknowledging their professional growth and international achievement.
