Description
The purpose of the subject service is to strengthen the target group of vocational teachers and mentors at employers for the use of the student mentoring model on professional practice, which will enable better monitoring, achievement and evaluation of the learning outcomes acquired at the practice at employers, which concern the described thematic areas.
We provide templates for common, integrative models for evaluating learning outcomes, mentoring students, and the actual implementation of the mentoring program, as well as providing training for their use and processing.
Target audiences
Educators and teachers of preschool institutions, primary schools and secondary of VET schools.
Depending on which institution the course participants come from, the level of complexity of the course itself is adjusted to their needs.

- The possibility of planning the practical classes themselves – adopt how the documentation/computer application/ enables easier and more transparent parameters such as: how long the student attendee stays in one department / in one area of work / in the apprenticeship workshop; what are the work methods, that is, how to transfer the relevant content to the student in practical work; who and when is responsible for the trainee himself during the professional practice; how to design a rotation system in the case of simultaneous attendance of several participants, analysis of the feasibility of practical classes in a company/trade.
- Possibility of monitoring progress in practical classes – It includes the possibility of joint documentation of learned knowledge, skills and competences as well as achieved learning outcomes on a special prescribed form /i/ or computer application; the possibility of monitoring and recording attendance, but also notes, comments and suggestions about the very articulation of the professional class, both of mentors and participants; the possibility of introducing, monitoring and replanning corrective measures in terms of achieving learning outcomes in professional practice itself.
- The possibility of evaluating acquired knowledge, skills and competences during practical classes and giving feedback on progress – It includes the infrastructure for input, evaluation, criteria, scoring and the result of work tasks and exercises that will be assigned at the end of a specific thematic unit/set of learning outcomes that will to try to realize; the criteria at which educational and competence level the participant is and in relation to the totality of the professional practice program; the possibility of introducing the strengths and weaknesses of the student’s knowledge, skills and competences; the possibility of monitoring whether the tasks have been fulfilled, that is, whether the educational goal has been achieved; whether the conditions, authorizations and responsibilities of both involved parties (Mentor and trainee) have been respected; a proposal for further advancement and/or corrective measures at the professional itself.
- The learning outcomes that need to be achieved are: creating a plan for conducting practical classes in the company; familiarization with learning methods and processes; distribution of goals and conception of methods according to their realization; methods of learning progress control, progress evaluation.
