Description
The aim of this course is to enable participants to create multi-color prints using the linocut technique. Through practical work, participants will learn how to plan a complex printmaking project, create sketches adapted for multi-color prints, use multiple plates or reduction linocut technique, and properly combine colors. During the course, each participant will design and create their own multi-color linocut, from initial concept to final print.
Target audiences
Educators, primary and secondary school teachers (general and vocational), as well as anyone interested in advanced printmaking techniques. The program is adapted to both basic and advanced levels, depending on participants' previous experience with linocut.
