Description
The purpose of the course is to provide the participants with the knowledge and skills of sheet metal straightening in different ways. With innovative PDR technology, without removing the paint and varnish if the damage allows it, or with a machine for extracting sheet metal (spotter), for which we have to sand the sheet beforehand.
Attendees will also be presented with manual tools for correcting sheet metal deformation, which are indispensable in many situations.
The course and all exercises will be conducted on a car in the school workshop, and participants will be able to participate in all exercises independently.
Target audiences
Teachers of secondary vocational schools. Depending on the prior knowledge of the participants, the level of complexity of the course itself is adjusted to their needs.

- Investigate and classify the damage to the vehicle (by visual inspection and measuring the bodywork of a real passenger vehicle)
- Differentiate types of damage
- Determine the repair sequence
- Use electric grinding tools
- Straighten indentations in sheet metal with various levers and a pull hammer
- Smooth out unevenness with puttying
- Apply electrical straightening tools (spotter)
- Control the performed works
